Annak Donates P300K to Candon
Elementary School District
The National Board
of Annak ti Candon International, Inc. (Annak) recently
approved the donation of
P300,000.00 to the Candon Elementary School District for the
purchase and installation of computer systems in District 2. This
project is being undertaken under Annak’s Computerization of Candon
Elementary School District Program to promote the academic and
educational development of the youths in Candon City.
Under Annak’s
contract with Planet Earth Computers, Vigan, Ilocos Sur, computer
units, softwares, and accessories are currently being installed in
the following District 2 elementary schools:
1. Candon South Central School.
2. Allangigan Elementary School
3. Oaig Daya Elementary School
4. Bugnay Elementary School
5. Cubcubbuot Elementary School
6. Parioc Elementary School
7. Patpata Elementary School
8. Paypayad Elementary School
9. Ayudante Elementary School
10. Calongbuyan Elementary School
11. Sto. Tomas Elementary School
In her most recent
communication to Annak, Ms. Ruselyn A. Alcain of Planet Earth
informed Annak’s President, Atty. Omar B. de Peralta, that the
project will be completed by the end of October 2008. In addition
to the installation of the computers, Planet Earth will also provide
computer training and maintenance of the computer system.
The installation
of computers and computer training are being supervised and
coordinated by Atty. Emmylou Mangasar and PTCA. As per the request
of Atty. Mangasar and PTCA, Annak will consider the establishment of
a computer room at the South Central Elementary School.
The money used for
this project was raised during the Annak Ti Candon International
First Inaugural Charity Ball which was held on July 12, 2008 in Los
Angeles, California. Computerization of District 2 is Phase 1 of
Annak Computerization Program. Annak is committed to computerizing
the entire Candon Elementary School District, including District 1.

better Candon City.
