Annak Ti Candon - Nevada Adopts Candon National High
School
Annak Ti Candon International, Inc. (Annak) expands its
Computerization Program to include Candon high schools.
On November 15, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Annak Ti Candon-Navada (Annak-Nevada)
approved a resolution adopting Candon National High School (CNHS)(f/k/a
Alejandro Samonte Memorial High School, f/k/a Candon Provincial High
School). To many alumni, it is simply called Bagani high school.
President Dr. Alberto B. Gaceta informed Annak’s National Board and
members that the program includes providing CNHS with complete
computer systems, reference books and materials, and giving
achievement awards to deserving students.
This program is pursuant to Annak’s goal of promoting the academic
and educational development of the students by providing them the
necessary tools to excel in academics. Annak believes that those who
have more in education achieve more in life, and that good education
is one of the solutions to solving poverty and economic deprivation.
This program gives the students the opportunity to succeed in life.
Annak’s National Board immediately approved the program during its
meeting on November 15, 2008 in Los Angeles California. It commended
the officers and members of Annak-Nevada for taking a monumental
project given that it was organized only last March of this year.
Annak pledged to support the program and will provide the necessary
logistical support to make this program succeed.
The initial funding for this program will come from the net proceeds
of the Thanksgiving Jam Session sponsored by Annak-Nevada which will
be held on November 29, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Annak invites all alumni of Bagani high school to support this
worthy cause. Alumni may post questions about this project on this
website.
