ATCII HOLDS SUCCESSFUL
CHARITY JAM SESSION
On July 30, 2011,
Annak Ti Candon International, Inc. (ATCII) held a successful
charity jam session in Rosemead, California. The event was
attended by members and guests from various states and cities,
including members of various Candonian associations. It was also a
successful fundraiser for the Annak Ti Candon Education Program.
In
his welcome message, President Omar B. de Peralta highlighted the
accomplishments of ATCII for the last 4 years. He indicated that
ATCII has completed donating computers to all public schools in
Candon School Division and has donated and continue donating books
and library materials to various schools in the division. He also
indicated that ATCII has been recognizing outstanding students for
the last 3 years. He conveyed a message of gratitude, on behalf of
members of ATCII, to the guests, sponsors and supporters for their
continuing support of the goals of ATCII.
In addition to
night-long of dancing, the guests were entertained by Jo Awayan and
Angel Rivero with Filipino (Visaya and Ilocano) jokes and songs.
