2009 CHARITY
JAM SESSION - ROSEMEAD
On May
23, 2009, we hosted another successful fund raising event for our
charity organization. The event was held at the Garvey Community
Center in Rosemead. The proceeds from this
event went to fund the
Annak computerization program, which helps put computers in the
hands of the less fortunate. Again, the night was blessed by the
presence of our fellow members
from San Francisco, Las Vegas,
and San Diego. The addition of them at the event truly made it
complete.
The night was filled
with entertainment from different genres. Laughter and fun was
spread around the room by comedian/entertainer Leanardo Oval, Andy &
Jeanine performed Argentina and Latin Salsa, and belly dancing for
the crowd. Tunes from the 60's, 70's and ballroom music were
provided by the DJ- Andy, Randall Milan and his band, and by the
Philippine recording artist
Sung a Song.
Thank you for all that
attended and donated to this truly worthy cause. Without the
support of you and others, we would not be able to help those truly
in need.
