Annak-Nevada Adopts Candon City High School - Darapidap
Responding
to Resolution No. 03 of Candon City High School, Annak ti Candon
International, Inc.-Nevada (Annak-Nevada), adopted Candon City High
School-Darapidap (CCHS). Annak-Nevada is donating 1 computer to the
school which will be installed at the opening of classes in June,
2010.
In addition to the
computer system, under the Annak Computerization Program Annak-Nevada
will provide the school with library reference books and materials,
and give Academic Excellence and Academic Achievement Awards to
deserving students. During the graduation exercises held on March
31, 2010, Annak-Nevada recognized the outstanding students of the
school.
Dr. Albert Gaceta,
President of Annak-Nevada, indicated that in adopting and sponsoring
CCHS, it is Annak’s goal to promote the academic development of the
students by providing the school with the tools to excel in
academics.
The money used to
purchase the computer and give awards came from the net proceeds of
the successful Thanksgiving Jam Session sponsored by Annak-Nevada
held on November 28, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
