On December 20,
2008, Annak Ti Candon celebrated together at the La Palma Recreation
Center
on Walker Street. Of the 200 guests expected to attend, an
additional 50 friends and family attended
the event, making for a fun-filled evening. Another highlight of the
night was the attendance of the Las Vegas Chapter members and their
families, which really gave meaning to the phrase “ the more, the
merrier”. Seeing the number of individuals and families
involved in this organization is truly uplifting. Even renowned
actress Nora Aunor sat and enjoyed the festivities with the rest of
the guests.
It was a night of soothing sounds and pleasure as singer Marco Sison
serenaded the crowd with his
ballads. Further entertainment and laughter was brought to the adult
guests by the sultry impersonators.
The antics and charisma they provided will always be remembered. As
for the younger members, Santa Claus came in to bring gifts and joy
to the kids. The night was topped off with a raffle for gifts with
tickets sold during the event. On behalf of the board members of the
Annak Ti Candon International, we would like to thank everyone for
making this a truly successful event. Naimbag na Pascua ken Baro nga
Tawen!
